Scotty Miller believes that people are more likely to achieve their personal fitness goals if they remain motivated, energized and disciplined.
As a result, he strives to: identify client motivators and develop fitness plans that capitalize on them, stimulate his clients mentally and physically through innovative, challenging and fun workouts. He targets distractions that impede progress and develop workouts designed to integrate daily activity into busy and chaotic lives.
His clients have described his training style as empowering and supportive, and believe that his positive and upbeat attitude helps them stay focused on results.
He obtained a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Personal Trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Physical Fitness Specialist certification from The Cooper Institute. He is also a Certified Group Fitness Instructor
from the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).
In addition, he earned a MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion: Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania. His bachelor's degree is in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University (LSU). He is CPR, AED and First Aid certified.
He is a Licensed Massage Therapist. He's certified in the modalities of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Shiatsu, Acupressure, and Reflexology massage.
An avid sports enthusiast, he has competitive playing experience in football, basketball, and track and field.
